I find treesize very useful because it can filter by file types to give you an idea what exactly is eating up space, then you can filter for it and see their location etc. then you can browse through the sub directories to see what is eating up the most space. point it to your NAS and it will make colored bars with % and file size used. treesize - if file station and qsirch don't cut it, you can try this. i can then figure out junk files and proceed to delete them (sometimes i accidentally store dupes and this builds up over time. dupeguru - this insanely useful app helps me detect duplicate files stored on the NAS. their the first ones i would prune/delete to make roomģ. qsirch - i can then sort by file size and i first check the biggest size files if they are still relevant or not. when i am pruning my storage to reclaim space, i tend to useĢ.
